Muriel Wilkins talks with Kelly Leonard from Second City about her new book Leadership Unblocked.
She gives an example of how perception can change people within organisations. When she worked with Hotel staff it was clear their work was demanding physically, but they didn’t think of their work as exercise. When they began to notice the physical nature of their job and consider it as exercise, it changed their health outcomes. It’s not just what wedo that counts but what we think about what we do.
She has a few other themes, like the importance of ceding the need to be right, she also touches on therapy vs coaching.
