Apparently it became a thing on Nickelodeon around the turns of the century to drop slime on people who said
I don’t know
It’s a giant shame. When we don’t have the option to say I don’t know we can get trap ourselves into fake knowing, or worse, not exploring anything outisde of our experience where we know things.
In my leadership training we talk about
There’s no growth in the comfort zone, no comfort in the growth zone
and surely the growth happens when we’re uncomfortable, when we don’t know. So why embed this into teenager’s world-view?
