Human emotions mapped

When I studied Neuro-Linguistic Programming, we did some fascinating around Sub-modalities, which were dubbed “the barcodes of reality”.

Essentially Sub-modalities (SMDs) are about the ways each person experiences an emotion (a tightness here, a brightness there, a bing-bong here and there).

So this article showing heat maps of where we feel love, fear and shame (and etc) are fascinating. It’s a scientific approach to the SMDs question. Human emotions mapped for the first time, shows where we feel love, fear, and shame

In NLP we then helped people to have more choice about how they feel by helping them move those sensations around. Not scientific at all.

But very efficacious!
