This great article shows you when you can use a behavioural scientist in an organisation.
I’d take the word behavioural scientist and put change manager / learning professional in most cases – the most frustrating thing for me as a consultant is when clients have already chosen the project, designed the intervention and then asked me in to deliver it, when I know the choices have flaws.
The worst is when a client has scheduled their offsite down to the 2 minute intervals, and they expect me to deliver exactly what they have designed (even if it’s a bad learning / facilitation intervention). I love to use my wisdom and experience in the workplace.
Maybe I should make a little flowchart like theirs to explain what I do?
