What do you say No to?

Continuing my quest for great resources on how to say no nicely, I came across the concept of “under estimation of compliance effect”. Essentially when someone asks us for something it’s hard to say no. But the askers underestimate how hard it is for others to say no. Which is why having a nice no ready and available can be useful. Visit my other posts on saying no here.

And here’s some research suggesting that saying no because you don’t have the money is better to hear than “I can’t come because I don’t have time”.
