This Seth Godin post about what makes a conference work poses an interesting dilemma. If you follow Seth’s suggestions in life (and I do try to), you’d take risks, both personal and political in meetings. You’d speak up. You’d name the unnameable and ask the questions we all want to ask but never do.

But at the same time, you’ll risk being unpopular, difficult, or a troublemaker.

It’s treading a fine line, really, isn’t it?
