If you’re an internal consultant and your work is perceived to be free, you can have major issues with overload. You need to learn how to make no sound like yes as well as FEEL like yes. The reasons that’s important is because your stakeholders/clients will be around a long time. You cannot afford to alienate them, neither can you afford to give them everything they want without question.
