Story sources: some ideas

Last week I ran Presentation Mastery, and I referred to my 2 favourite books for sourcing stories: Magic of Metaphor and More Magic of Metaphor both by Nick Owen.

I find the stories have a much higher hit rate for use in a business context than say Chicken Soup for the Soul.

Mostly I find that reading good non-fiction business books gives the best stories.

You also need to just be on the look out for interesting stories in newspapers, journals, novels, magazines or on TV (I watched Billy Connelly being interviewed once, he had a million great stories).
