Writing Proposals

Writing proposals can be tough. I try to avoid it as much as possible.

Writing proposals is sometimes a waste of time

After I’ve spent a few hours on writing one, and then it gets rejected it makes everything feel like a waste of time. It’s hard to Stay Cheerful. And making the process of writing quicker isn’t of much use if fundamentally I should never have been writing that proposal in the first place, or if I’m trying to sell wood to someone who needs figs.

Writing proposals: what you may be doing wrong

When I read this article on why people lose design proposals a few things clicked. Maybe it will help you too.

It’s aimed at designers, but you’ve got one of those brains that can swap context, right? 🙂
